Renée Lepreau has an MFA in Creative Writing, Poetry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is the recipient of the William W. Marr Graduate Prize in Creative Writing as well as scholarships to Bread Loaf Writers' Conference and Community of Writers and a residency at Ucross Foundation.
Previously she worked as a home birth midwife in her practice June Moon Birth and currently as a lactation consultant. She has been messing around with cameras for a long time and danced extensively on and off the stage. Her photography has been included in shows at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and other galleries.
Renée lives in Oakland, CA with her partner and two chihuahuas.
